Organizational Points:
  • set up three joined channels, ten meters long by five meters wide
  • two cones for defending and attacking starting points on the outside of channel one and three (in the middle)
  • have cones for starting points on both ends of out outside channels so drill can be done from both sides (learn to pass to the right and to the left)
Drill:
  • three attackers and two defenders
  • first attacker goes down first channel, second goes down the second, and the third goes down the third
  • defenders come opposite way up first two channels
  • attackers draw the defender and pass, moving the ball to the third attacker who has an empty channel and scores the try
  • defenders play passive defense
