Scope
The lessons are designed for a coed grade 11 and 12 class.  The purpose of these four lessons is to reacquaint the students with the fundamental skills of volleyball.  The lessons will also introduce concepts such as movement off the ball, as well as attacking and blocking techniques.

The students will have a basic understanding of the fundamental volleyball skills.  Specifically forearm passing and overhead passing.  Attacking knowledge may be limited because younger ages are usually too small to perform the skill effectively.  Defensive skills such as blocking may also be limited because of difficulties associated with players size.

The students will be able to effectively perform an attack.  More importantly the students will have a stronger understanding of when to use an attack and which attack to use; either a standing downball for increased accuracy or a jump                    attack (spike) which requires much more power.  Students will be able to identify and perform a proper defensive block depending on the situation.
