• Four lesson unit to introduce and develop how to use tactics and skills for beginners and intermediates:


Entry ability:

• Students might have a limited ability to hit a forehand stroke.
• Students might have some knowledge of game format/tennis scoring.
• Students might be able to identify which stroke is needed depending on where they are in the court.


Exit outcomes:

• Students will be proficient at their forehand stroke.
• Students will be able to carry on a simple game of tennis.
• Students will be able to make use of space on the court by moving their opponent from short to deep, and from side to side.
