Scope: Four
lesson unit to introduce the skills of badminton without having to concentrate
primarily on skills, but to incoporate the skills to play games.
One of our more important objectives was to put fun back into badminton.
Expected Entry Abilities:

Student's ability to keep the birdie in
flight for a successful number of passes.

Limited ability to recognize principles
of space, force and time.

Limited knowledge of the rules, how to
keep score, and the boundaries of the court.

An advanced class, therefore, ability
to pick up skills and tactical awareness ideas quite quickly.
