Narrowest Gates

  1. -In partners, pass the puck between two cones

  2. -Start with cones about 4 feet apart and stand about 5 feet from cones

  3. -With five consecutive successful passes, decrease the distance between cones by 1 foot; continue until 8” apart

  4. -If miss 2 times in a row, increase the distance between the cones by 1 foot

4 Corners A

  1. -In groups of 4, set up a square with 4 cones about 6 feet apart

  2. -3 players in the square; the fourth acts as a coach and modifies the game to increase or decrease difficulty

  3. -The players without the ball adjust their position to make the triangle of support

  4. -Person with ball passes to other player and then adjusts to then again make the triangle of support

  5. -Switch the “coach” when appropriate

4 Corners B

  1. -Set up the same as “A”

  2. -One of the players without the ball runs to the open cone

  3. -The player with the ball passes the ball to the player that has moved after he/she has reached the cone

4 Corners C

  1. -Set up the same as “A”

  2. -One of the players without the ball runs to the open cone

  3. -The player with the ball passes to the moving player before he/she has reached the destination cone

  4. -When moving player receives ball, he/she stick handles to the cone then distributes a pass when another player moves to an open cone

Mass Pass

  1. -3 or 4 groups of 4 players

  2. -In the designated area, players pass to own teammates

  3. -Pass around other players in the grid

  4. -Do not intercept others balls

Bench Endball

  1. -Create 4 teams & set up 2 playing areas

  2. -Use substitutions if there are more than 4 players on each team

  3. -Emphasize finding and making space for self and teammates

  4. -Score by directing a pass towards the bench

  5. -4 consecutive passes required before attempting to score on the bench

Narrowest Gate

  1. -Head up

  2. -Follow through to target

  3. -Control with stick, not feet

  4. -Non-dominant foot forward

4 Corners A

  1. -Head up

  2. -Cushion pass

  3. -Call for pass

4 Corners B

  1. -Head up when passing and running

  2. -Keep passes on ground

  3. -Call for pass when reached cone

4 Corners C

  1. -Keep head up

  2. -Keep ball close to stick

  3. -Absorb the pass

  4. -Communicate with passer

Bench Endball

  1. -Use full playing area

  2. -Keep head up

  3. -Communicate

Mass Pass

  1. -Keep head up

  2. -Move into open area

  3. -Continue to move

  4. -Lead pass slightly ahead of moving target
