The tactical problem we emphasized in this lesson was how do you create space through off the ball movement. The emphasis was on creating offensive space. We didn’t give much guidance to the defenders, rather we hoped their prior defensive principles would provide them with an adequate understanding of how to play defense.

The tactical problem we emphasized in this lesson was how do you create space through off the ball movement and on the ball movement. It’s our hope that the class will have an understanding of appropriate times to dribble and move with the ball, as well as appropriate times and places to cut when they are without the ball and on offense.

The tactical problem we emphasized in this lesson was how do you create space through off the ball movement and on the ball movement (more advanced versions of tactical problem from lesson 2). We also introduced the tactical problem, how do you position yourself on defense to best defend your zone or check. By adding more defenders and more team mates we were having the students apply their knowledge of how to solve the tactical problems (from last class) in a more difficult setting.
