The Pass
Preparatory Phase:
-ball beside supporting foot
-supporting foot planted and pointed in direction you are aiming for
Wind up:
-stepping into kick
-supporting leg planted
-kicking leg extended back – lifts off the ground
-body begins to align over the ball
Force:
-supporting foot stays planted
-kicking leg strikes ball at instep
-arms out for support
Recovery:
-arms out
-supporting leg remains planted
-kicking leg extends
-return to base
