FOREARM PASS
1. Preparatory Phase/Ready Position
•Feet shoulder width apart, side by side
•Knees bent
•Shoulders over knees, knees over toes
•Arms in front of body, anticipating ball
•Ready to move to ball
2. Wind-up Phase/Receiving the Ball:
•Arms extended
•Thumbs parallel
•Hips and shoulders square to target
•Feet shoulder width apart
•Knees bent
•Shoulders over knees, knees over toes
3. Force Phase/Sending the Ball:
•Keep body behind the ball
•Square shoulders in direction of pass
•Extend knees while contacting ball
•Shrug shoulders when contacting ball
•Elevate arms if ball requires more force
4. Follow-through:
•Return to base stance
•Move into offensive positioning
