 The purpose of this research project (SSHRC funded 2001-2004) is to develop partnerships between schools and the university to produce a connected set of meaningful pre-service educational experiences that will enable successful teaching careers for beginning teachers.  The research project will examine the nature of these educational experiences in an effort to determine the different qualities of interwoven personal practical knowledge and knowledge of pedagogy.
