A study of major accomplishments of the New German Cinema (1962-1982). Considers film as both a narrative form and a means of reflecting social concerns.


  • Credit will be granted for only one of GMST 351, GER 439, GERS 439.
  • May count toward a Minor in Film Studies.
  • No knowledge of German required.
