Topics include the rise of corporate capitalism, the Progressive Movement, immigration, race and gender relations, the development of mass consumerism and the impact of the Great Depression and two world wars on state power and labour relations.


  • Credit will be granted for only one of HSTR 303A, HIST 304, HIST 304A.
