Introduction to Real Analysis

Axiomatic and metric properties of the real numbers. Sequences and limits. Completeness, compactness, Bolzano-Weierstrass and Heine-Borel theorems. Infinite series. Continuous and uniformly continuous functions.

  • Not open for credit to students with credit in any of MATH 334, MATH 335, MATH 336.

Prerequisites:

Undergraduate course in Mathematics offered by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the Faculty of Science.
