Anthropology of Mexico

Introduction to the diverse peoples and cultures of Mexico from the pre-Conquest period to the present day. Topics may include colonialism, religion, narcotrafficking, neoliberalism, tourism, migration and social movements.

Note:

  • Credit will be granted for only one of ANTH 371, ANTH 391 (if taken in the same topic).

Prerequisites:

  • ANTH 200; or
  • permission of the program.

Undergraduate course in Anthropology offered by the Department of Anthropology in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
