Covers key principles, concepts and measurement issues, empirical facts, and analytical perspectives associated with economic development. Topics will include human development, inequality and poverty, population growth, education, health, and agriculture and rural development. Topics may also include urbanization and migration, role of credit markets, globalization, environment, and other current issues in development.
