History of Economic Thought to 1870

Economics from Mercantilism up until the Marginal Revolution. Most attention will be devoted to the "Classical" contributions of Smith, Malthus, Ricardo, J.S. Mill and Marx.

Note:

  • Credit will be granted for only one of ECON 337, ECON 307.

Prerequisites:

Undergraduate course in Economics offered by the Department of Economics in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
