Discrete and Combinatorial Mathematics

Graph theory, counting, combinatorial arguments and proofs, inclusion-exclusion, partial orders and equivalence relations, deriving and solving recurrence relations, generating functions.

  • Not open for credit to students registered in or with credit in any of MATH 324, MATH 422, or MATH 423.

Prerequisites:

  • MATH 122; or
  • permission of the department.

Undergraduate course in Mathematics offered by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the Faculty of Science.
