Special Topics in Modern Spanish Literature

Studies in the literature of modern Spain with special emphasis on the post-Franco period. Although primarily a study of fiction, some attention may be given to poetry and drama at the discretion of the instructor. Normally given in Spanish.

Notes:

  • May be taken more than once for credit in different topics to a maximum of 3 units.
  • If taken in Spanish, open to native and near-native speakers.

Pre- or Co-requisites:

  • If taken in Spanish,
  • SPAN 350A; or
  • permission of the department.
  • If taken in English,
  • minimum second-year standing.

Undergraduate course in Spanish offered by the Department of Hispanic and Italian Studies in the Faculty of Humanities.
