History of the Spanish Language

A study of the development of the Spanish language from its origins in Vulgar Latin to its stabilization in Cervantes' time.

Notes:

  • Credit will be granted for only one of SPAN 490A, SPAN 425.
  • Open to native and near-native speakers.

Prerequisites:

Undergraduate course in Spanish offered by the Department of Hispanic and Italian Studies in the Faculty of Humanities.
