Mathematical Statistics II

Brief introduction to decision theory, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing; regression and correlation, analysis of variance. Emphasis on the mathematics of statistics.

Note:

  • Credit will be granted for only one of STAT 450, STAT 351.

Prerequisites:

Undergraduate course in Statistics offered by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the Faculty of Science.
