Theories of Acting From Antiquity to Today

A historical survey of acting theory from past to the present. Traces and evaluates the conceptualization and expression of acting methods across historical periods and theatrical cultures.

Note:

  • Credit will be granted for only one of THEA 409, THEA 310 (if taken in the same topic), THEA 311 (if taken in the same topic).

Prerequisites:

  • THEA 211 or THEA 347; or
  • permission of the department.

Undergraduate course in Theatre offered by the Department of Theatre in the Faculty of Fine Arts.
