Earth and Ocean Sciences : Co-operative Education
Participation in the Co-operative Education program – which enables students to acquire knowledge, practical skills for employment, and workplace experience – is optional for Master’s and PhD students. Master’s students complete two work terms and PhD students complete three (a work term consists of four months of full-time, paid employment). Students require permission from their academic adviser and graduate adviser, as well as the Co-op coordinator, to participate in the Co-op program. Interested students should contact the Earth and Ocean Sciences Co-op office early in their first term. Students are also referred to General Regulations: Graduate Co-op.
