Rudiments of Music

An introduction to the rudiments of music, including pitch and rhythmic notation, basic harmonic language, and a study of the elementary principles of melodic writing and harmony.


  • Not open to students registered in or with credit in any of MUS 100, MUS 100A, MUS 101A, MUS 101B.
  • No background in music required.

Undergraduate course in Music offered by the School of Music in the Faculty of Fine Arts.
