Leading in Practice Settings

Units: 1.5

Integration of students' evolving knowledge of Advanced Practice Nursing through practice with a particular population. In collaboration with faculty and a field guide, students develop a personalized learning plan that focuses on clinical leadership, consultation, collaboration and research competencies. Students also participate in an online community with their peers for a total of 104 practice hours.

Pre- or Co-requisites:

  • NURA 516 or;
  • permission of the department.

Grading: INC, COM, N, F.

Graduate course in the Nursing, Advanced Practice: Nurse Leadership Option program offered by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
