Comparative Policy and Governance

Reviews the challenges and trends confronting governments and society, diverging governance practices and outcomes across jurisdictions and policy domains. Reviews foundational concepts and theories of policy-making. Examines policy determinants such as history, culture, institutions, and the economy; policy dynamics and processes such as agenda-setting and decision-making, networks and communities, policy change and transfer. Students conduct research on selected issues.
