2019 Far Horizons Fiction Award:
The Shortlist

We are pleased to announce the finalists for this year's Far Horizons Fiction Award! Over 200 entries were received from emerging short story writers, and reducing the number to just nine finalists was no easy task.

The winner of the $1,000 prize will be announced by July 10 on our website and social media pages, as chosen by judge Mehdi M. Kashani.
