Colleen Bidner is a fourth-year student at the University of Victoria, studying for majors in Writing and English. During her time at UVic, she has edited for PLVS VLTRA, Ronsdale Press, The Albatross, and the Martlet. As a Work Study Communications Assistant for the English Department, she wrote stories on UVic English alumni. They can be found here.
Colleen’s imagination drifts into uncharted spaces, searching for inspiration on her speculative fiction stories. Her fiction often contains nature, juxtapositions between the picturesque and the repulsive, and characters who find an unsettling peace in isolation. A few poems may be hidden in her stories. Colleen was born and raised in Prince George, British Columbia.
