VICTORIA B.C. - THE NEW CUSTOM HOUSE
The building was erected by the Dominion Government, in the year 1875. The size of the building is 40x62; 50 feet in height. It is intended to afford accomofation fort the officers of the customs, Internal Revenue Department, Telegraph Department, Marine and Fisheries Department. Itis considered as fine and substatial a building as there is in Victoria. It cost about thirth-three thousand dollars.
