graduate, undergraduate (including CHEM 298/398/399/499), and summer students

Engage in broadly-interdisciplinary research. All projects in our group span a wide variety of disciplines: chemistry, physics, biology, mechanical engineering, computer science. Whether you are interested in some of these areas, or want to participate in all of them, there is opportunity to learn about many different fields.

Build instruments. We are continuously looking for new designs or to improve on our existing designs. If you want to learn how something works, there's no substitute for building it yourself!

Model. Computer modelling plays a large role in many of the projects. In some cases, it is a necessary part of processing the data from experiments. In other instances it provides its own data that complements experimental results. Learn on the job - no previous computer programming experience necessary.
