The following are some of the blocklists currently in use at UVic. Most of the viewable lists below are pulled directly from devices or systems on a regular basis (most are hourly) for up-to-date information. Not all lists are viewable/public.

This is a layer 7 protection, blocking access to URLs using a captive portal.- UVicPhishing - Border protection, PaloAlto. Manually added as reports come in of targeted phishing.

DNS Blocklist
This is a layer 7 protection, blocking DNS requests to malicious domains.- CIRA - UVic employs DNS filtering powered by CIRA, the Canadian Internet Registration Authority.
