I have taught undergraduate courses in mineralogy, igneous and metamorphic petrology, earth system science and fieldschools. I have stated to develop an interactive earth science education webpage found here.

Teaching

I am interested in the role of the oceanic lithosphere in the earth system. My research spans from understanding mantle temperature and composition through magma chamber process and high-temperature hydrothermal circulation to low-temperature off-axis hydrothermal systems. I use field (shipboard and ophiolite), analytical, experimental and modeling studies dependent on the question being addressed. A (hopefully fairly up-to-date) publication list can be found here.
