Eighth Day – The Forecast didn't Call for it: Surprising Sun

The forecast was for rain. But, surprisingly, I saw the sun in the garden from my desk. I decided to go out and work in the garden, cutting the tops of the raspberries, clean up, and watch the bees. When the clouds covered the sun, the bees disappeared. And once the sun returned, the bees came out again.
The bees even took some short flights, and then return rather quickly. They probably relieve themselves, too.
In the hive where I had seen the bees take well to the sirup, there was no change when I checked today. In fact, there were no bees taking sirop. But when the sun was out and lots of activity in front of the hive, there was also a lot of activity at the sirop glass. But I didn't have to do the refill I thought I might have to do. I hope all continues well.
