About Me

I started my PhD in September 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kai Hormann at the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Lugano (@{USI}), which I finished in August 2017 with the thesis "Theory and Applications of Bijective Barycentric Mappings".

In June 2017 I won an SNF (@{SNF}) Early post-doc mobility fellowship titled "Barycentric polyhedral finite elements" to continue my career at New York University (@{NYU}) with Prof. Dr. Daniele Panozzo.

In January, I finished my PostDoc at NYU and started a new career as Assistant Professor at (@{UVIC}).

My current scientific interests are computer graphics, geometry processing, differential geometry, and numerical simulation.
