Sample questions

  1. At the beginning of the match a player wins the toss.  How many choices does he have and what are they?
Four choices.  To serve, to receive, choice of ends and make the opponent choose.
  2. Case 1:  The ball in play strikes a ball lying on the court.  After the ball was hit the receiving player claims a let." Is this correct?
No.  Play must continue.  If it is not clear that the right ball is returned a let should be called.  If the ball on the court interfered with the receiving player's shot and the receiving player called for a let before the ball on the court was hit then it would be a let.
