Course Introduction

1.      Free play and practice in short courts.  Practice routine.

2.      Fundamental Skills of the game.  Playing in the full court. Basic drive and grip.

3.      First singles GPAI peer assessment.

4.      Over-hand Serve and volley.

5.      Tournament/League ideas to encourage play.  Handicap singles, challenge rating singles, round-robin and ladder play.

6.      Use of spin to control ball.

7.      First doubles GPAI peer assessment.

8.      Use of spin. Drives

9.      Second singles GPAI peer assessment.

10.  Video pictures for workshop presentation.

11.  School practice workshops (10 min per pair) x 4
