Philosophical Statement
We believe that activities carried out in this
golfing unit should be enjoyable and fulfilling, and at the same time give
students a good skill base to carry on as golfers after our unit is finished.
By applying as many of the spectrum of teaching styles as possible, we
hope to encourage students to enjoy the game and look forward to golfing at a
recreational level in the future.
The golfing unit will work on many aspects of
individual skills and mechanics, as well as teaching students about the rules,
regulations, and intricacies involved in the game of golf.
