- Review--Rules, Lines, Strategies
- Go over a rules review sheet
- Give 'line' sheets to group

- Students sitting around half of the badminton court
- On the sheet with a picture of a court have the students
write the names of the differant lines as we go over it
- In groups of four go to a court with your "lines sheet"
and the person with the sheet quiz partners I.E. Go stand on the short serve
line

Culminating Activity
- Pair up with somebody of the opposite sex
- rally with intention of keeping the birdie in the air (no
smashing)

- Work on hitting the birdie high so it gives the other team
time to get under the bird.
- Work on getting into a base position after hitting the
bird
- Communication
- Practice seeing how different power of shots affect the other
team as well as height of the bird after a hit
- See what makes the student hit the birdie more efficiently
during the rally (i.e. positioning and split-step)

- Next class come prepared for serving practice as well as games
