Tactic

•  Draw the defender to you and then pass to your support player.

Skill

•  Lead your support player with the pass and use a "sympathetic" pass.

Students run in pairs toward a defender.  The ball carrier draws the defender and then passes to his/her support player who is coming from a position of depth.  When the pair reaches the end of the grid they turn around and come back.  Once they have returned the next pair goes.

• Students work in groups of two within a 15 x 15 meter grid
• One defender per grid who moves only laterally
