- listen only for the words "crows" or "cranes" (don't get tricked!)
- push off with inside push to accellerate fast
- stay low when side shuffling
- class gets in pairs
- pairs line up side by side on center line
- students on one side are "crows", and other students are "cranes"
- teacher calls "crows" or "cranes", and students who get called must move away from there partner, partner must chase
- the "called" students must get to a home-free zone before being tagged by partner
- start with speed walking only, then progress to running for 2-3 rounds, then allow only shuffling sideways movement for the rest of task
