Pass & Move Grid: Task Outline
Tactical Problem: Maintaining possession
Skill focus: Chest-pass, bounce-pass, Locating and moving to open space
Teaching Points: 
  • Chest Pass: both hands, thumbs down
  • Bounce Pass:
    • step out to side 
    • bounce 2/3 of way to teammate 
    • push with one hand
  • Locate open cone, then move
  • Lead pass to player moving to cone
Organizational Points:
  • After passing, player must move to open cone
  • 3 students per grid
  • When defender is added, defense ALWAYS goes to the player with ball (no sagging)
