Scope

Four lesson unit designed for a
grade 7, co-ed elementary class. The class consisted of 30 students
with a total gym facility to instruct our lessons. Our objectives
were to increase the technical skills and tactical awareness of the forearm
pass, volley and the serve.

students were able to name most of
the technical key points of the forearm pass, and volley

most of the students had trouble forearm
passing the ball to their partner (not consecutively) with proper height
on ball

the importance of staying low and using their legs to perform the forearm

that proper positioning of the body in relation to where the ball is going
to be is most important for a successful shot (preparation phase)
