Managerial Routines
-Keep all balls and equipment not in use
out of the way where no one can trip over them.
-Set the groundrules right away for class.
-Get all students in front of you (semi-circle),
when talking or demonstrating. -Make sure that the students backs
are facing anything distracting (ie. sun, other class).
-Use a variety of methods for partnering
people up, so that the students are not always with the same person.
-Leave some time at the end of class for
questions and a summary of the key points.
-When partnering students up give each one
a task (i.e. #1's go get a ball, and #2's go find a space).
-Get students to set up at the beginning
of class, and get them to clean up at the end of class, also.
