Grade 10 Boys Volleyball Unit

Break Down

The block plan is an outline of a potential progression for the volleyball unit.  We have incorporated Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) by utilizing the Curriculum Model (Bunker & Thorpe, 1986) when setting up our lesson plans.  When deciding on what kind of games and drills to play we focussed on as Doctor Hopper (2004) states; “off-the-ball movements, on-the-ball skills within a tactical awareness of how to play”.

We have broken down each lesson block plan on separate pages within the website where you can further click on the links to view the detailed task/game sheets.
