4 vs 4 Flag Football

- Two teams of four compete - invade the other’s territory with the ball to score a touchdown.

- Defend your own territory when other team is in possession to prevent them from scoring.

- Play begins with 2 teams lined up facing each other - each team has 1 QB. The closest player to the ball (the ‘centre’) huts the ball back to the QB then the 3 receivers (including the Centre) make cuts in order to get open, receive a pass and advance the ball.

Rules: - 3 downs to cross midfield. If accomplished, 3 more downs to score.

Note: defense is emphasized in this version of a 4 vs 4 game as attacking team

will have a total of 6 downs to try and score.

               - An interception or more than 3 downs results in a change of possession.

               - Defenders must pull the flag of an offender to stop play - may not pull QB’s flag.

               - A score is equal to 7 points. When touchdown is scored, other team begins with

possession on their own 5 yard line

    Organization: 20 x 40 yard grid, 1 football, set of flags for players, 8 players - 4 vs 4.
