I’m a 4th year PE major with a minor in history. I have always been interested in sports and decided that a career fostering that interest would be fun and rewarding. I was a competitive swimmer throughout most of my youth and played soccer in high school. I also play the drums and enjoy reading, longboarding and surfing.

I am excited about becoming a physical educator to be able to inspire youth as I was inspired through sport as a child and teenager. I want to focus on promoting active, healthy lifestyles rather than simply focusing on nurturing natural athletic ability in students. Everyone should be given the confidence and opportunity to experience success through athletics
