Step, Follow-through. Get in line (path). Get behind.

5. In partners, one person toss the ball the other catches it after one bounce

Throw to bounce at chest height. Watch ball into hands. Catch ball as it falls.

6. In partners, find a line on the floor and toss the ball over the line, partner catches after one bounce.

Try to make partner move but still catch.

Push-off side step to get in-line and beneath ball.

Application

Best Score: in partners try to see how many successful tosses and catches you can do. If the ball is dropped or bounces more than once stop counting and start back at zero.

(Not: This is only a skill progression for a lesson plan. Organizational tasks and notes to self as a teacher would be needed for a 'real' lesson plan)
