PASSING (3 in a quadrant)
Game/Task Outline

Tactical Problem: Students must pass accurately from alternating partners at different angles progressing to passing to the open cone.
Skill development: TSWBAT pass accurately to alternating partners using proper technique. The angles of the pass and location will change.

  • Teaching points:
    • begin by regular passing as before but in a group of three
    • one group per quadrant
    • progress to passing to the open cone
    • player without ball who is beside the open cone will move to that cone to receive the pass
    • key points: Call for the ball / Quick movement
    Organizational Points: 
    • students can remain in their '3's' from previous drill
    • one ball and one quadrant per group
    • pinnies remain on for next drill
