After 40 years in academia I'm now retired, as Professor Emeritus, from the Department of Economics at the University of Victoria, BC, Canada. Following a period developing large-scale macroeconomtric models for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, my academic career in the field of Econometrics was spent at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia), the University of Canterbury (Christchurch, N.Z.), and finally at the University of Victoria (1994-2017).

I undertake some consulting assignments and I still enjoy being involved in a number of editorship roles. In addition, I serve on the Board of Trustees for the North Hastings Public Library.
