Sample Prep Facilities

• We plan to occupy our new sample preparation labs early in 2009.
• The new facility houses three clean rooms (two class 100 and one class 1000), plus a large conventional wet lab. These labs house twelve polypropylene class 100 total exhaust fume hoods, which allow sample digestion in a metal free environment. As well, the clean rooms themselves have been constructed with essentially no exposed metal, in order to minimize contamination sources within the rooms.
