Feedback statements: (1) value statements: "word (or symbol) that projects a value or a feeling about the performance.” (may be positive or negative) (2) Corrective statements: "a statement that identifies an error and provides information on how to correct the error.” (3) Neutral statements: "a factual description of what performer has done.” (4) Ambiguous statements: "words/phrases that do not provide precise information about performance.” (5) Extension statements: "words/phrases” that help performer "extend" an already good performance."
