
Deborah Begoray is a Professor of Education engaged in literacy research at the University of Victoria. Her main interests lie in examining learning contexts both within the school and in society at large. She works extensively with adolescent students and their teachers during interactions with health education curricula. Currently she’s involved with two projects examining adolescent and teacher interactions within health education contexts. One of the projects involves developing a measurement tool for health literacy while the other is investigating the influence of external factors on adolescent health education and heath literacy.
